Anthony Davis has recently been thrown around in NBA trade rumors for many reasons. Regardless, the Washington Wizards have shut down talks and claim they are sticking with their great big man. In the scenario, they change their minds and decide to shop him around, here are the three best landing spots.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have been the team most linked to the Wizards’ big man so far this offseason. Warriors rumors have been connecting LeBron James to Golden State, with them acquiring Davis to help secure the greatest player of all time. This has seemingly been shut down for now, as recent reports indicate the Warriors are not interested in trading Jimmy Butler.

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics make a ton of sense after the Jaylen Brown trade. They could flip Paul George and picks to Washington to secure Davis, giving them a more realistic shot at the title. Sticking with George after that trade would be a terrible decision; there has to be another move coming at some point. Potentially, that move is for Davis.

New Orleans Pelicans

Davis returning to the New Orleans Pelicans would almost be poetic. Back where it all began, and where he started his journey to become one of the best players of this generation. The deal would be confusing, however, and might be difficult to get around. The Pelicans would need to get creative, but it could definitely work. Something to keep an eye on if Washington decides to shop Davis around.

Davis would be one of the best acquisitions a team could make at this point in the offseason. All of the major superstars available seem to have already been dealt, leaving Davis for the teams that missed out. The Warriors, Celtics, and Pelicans make the most sense to make a trade with the Wizards for Davis.
