The Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards has been given a hefty fine for an obscene gesture he made towards Sacramento Kings fans during the team's win on Friday night.
NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations, Joe Dumars, said on Sunday Edwards has been fined $35,000 for the action.
Edwards flashed a middle finger at Kings fans with about 3:15 remaining in the first quarter during the Wolves' 130-126 victory over Sacramento at Golden 1 Center.

Edwards finished with 36 points — including 7 in overtime — 5 rebounds and 2 assists in the winning effort. He also had a poster dunk on the Kings, something he had reportedly been telling head coach Chris Finch he was going to do before the game.
"I told [Finch] yesterday, I was going to dunk on one of their a**** so when I did it, I looked right at him," he said.
