Cayden Boozer and Cameron Boozer committed to the Duke Blue Devils in Oct. 2024 and have welcomed their newest teammate.

In a twin-like move, the two had an almost identical way of welcoming Sebastian Wilkins to the team: emoji, except Cayden Boozer used three, while Cameron Boozer used one.

Wilkins, a top-25 recruit, is the Blue Devils' latest addition to their top-ranked recruiting class. The 6-foot-8 forward chose Duke over Maryland after claiming he formed a strong relationship with coach Jon Scheyer.

“Coach Scheyer thinks I come in and impact and be part of a great recruiting class,” Wilkins said. “I fit real well with the other recruits. He’s a great guy. He’s very genuine.”

Wilkins, who attended Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, averaged 16.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. Due to his length and athleticism, he pairs well alongside Cayden Boozer and Cameron Boozer.

The Boozer twin’s played basketball at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida. They are the sons of former NBA player Carlos Boozer and we’re McDonald’s All-Americans this year.

In Cameron Boozer’s senior year, he averaged 22.6 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as the school’s starting power forward. His strong performances helped the school win the state championship 68-36 over Windermere.

Meanwhile, his twin brother, who was the team's starting point guard, averaged 16.6 points and 5.1 assists per game.

“I'm proud of them," their father told ESPN at the time of their commitment to the Blue Devils. "They've worked their butts off for this moment."

Carlos Boozer was a two-time all-star with the Utah Jazz in 2006-07 and 2007-08 and a member of the 2008 All-NBA third team. He was also a teammate of Lebron James on the Cleveland Cavaliers during James' rookie season.

Carlos Boozer also attended Duke and helped them win the 2001 National Championship before being selected by the Cavaliers during the second round of the 2002 NBA draft with the 35 pick.

The Boozer twin’s will look to replicate their father's success as members of Duke’s incoming recruiting class alongside their new teammate, Wilkins.

“Really excited that they took their time,” Carlos Boozer said. “Decided to play together in college, which is amazing. They both complement each other so well,”
