The Boston Celtics were quickly counted out of their playoff series against the New York Knicks after losing superstar forward Jayson Tatum to a torn Achilles in a Game 4 loss. Facing a 3-1 series deficit, the Celtics came together and blew out the Knicks in Game 5 by a final score of 127-102.

On Friday night, Boston will look to force a winner-take-all Game 7. That won't be an easy task, as the Celtics will have to win a crucial game in front of a packed Madison Square Garden crowd, but they have the talent to make it happen.

Ahead of Game 6, Boston sent out a five-word message to Tatum, showing him love as he goes through the emotions of suffering such a serious injury.

"Your Celtics family loves you @jaytatum0," the post read.

Tatum has been one of the best players in the NBA for years. He helped lead the Celtics to a championship last season.

Now, it's time for his teammates to carry him. What better way to honor their fallen teammate than by coming back and beating their Atlantic Division rivals in a shocking comeback from a 3-1 deficit?

In Game 5, Boston saw multiple players step up. Derrick White led the way with 34 points, while Jaylen Brown scored 26 points to go along with 12 assists and eight rebounds.

Payton Pritchard scored 17 points off the bench, Jrue Holiday chipped in 14, Al Horford scored 12, and Luke Kornett came through with 10 points, nine rebounds, and seven blocks.

Game 6 will tip off on Friday night at 8 p.m. ET. Fans will be able to watch the game on ESPN.
