Bradley Beal’s Agent Takes Shot at Suns, Reveals What Will be Different With Clippers

The Phoenix Suns continually stripped their contending team that made the NBA Finals in 2021, aiming to bring in more.

By adding Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, forming a "big three" superteam, the Suns gutted their depth and well-built roster.

The Durant era didn't go as planned. Devin Booker, the franchise superstar, is entering his prime years in the NBA while Phoenix is having to retool its roster.

It might be a case of addition by subtraction for the Suns. They certainly aren't title contenders now, but they clearly weren't last season, either, having posted a 36-46 record.

The club can now operate with significantly less drama. Other teams and cities can worry about that.

Booker's supporting cast now includes Jalen Green -- a young guard with star potential -- Dillon Brooks, Mark Williams, Ryan Dunn and Khaman Maluach, among others.

Beal's agent sends parting message

Beal's agent, Mark Bartelstein, made sure to get his parting comments off, subtly taking a shot at the organization and their handling of the situation regarding the veteran guard.

“If you have Brad Beal on your team, you have to let him be Brad Beal. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense and you’re not getting the best version of him. That’s what I think is going to happen here with the Clippers," Bartelstein said.

Evidently, it's on Beal and the organization alike. It was a bad situation for everyone involved. Since Phoenix made the decision to move on from their core that led the team to the NBA Finals, the culture and on-court production have deteriorated.

Phoenix gets a fresh start. Beal can try and return to his All-Star form with the Clippers.

It'll be interesting to see how both parties fare with their new situations in the next two years to come.
