Golden State Warriors Guard Brandin Podziemski has been making headlines in recent weeks. Podziemski, 22, underwent left wrist surgery and then attended the first three Golden State Valkyries home games at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Now, Podziemski has shared his take on the 2025 NBA Finals in an appearance on FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams with Kay Adams. Read on for the latest on Podziemski’s take.

Brandon Podziemski’s Take

In an appearance on FanDuel’s Up & Adams, Brandin Podziemski told Adams, “I’m glad it was the Pacers, not the Knicks… if it was the Knicks, it would have been a sweep.” Podziemski’s take to Adams, 39, was arguably a candid one. Up & Adams’ post on X, formerly Twitter, drew an ample amount of attention. One user responded, “Ball knower.” Another user replied, “Who even is this guy?”

Podziemski’s Outlook

Brandin Podziemski didn’t stop there. Podziemski proceeded to tell Adams about what it means to earn trust from Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. Podziemski told Adams, “It’s definitely a blessing.” Podziemski’s statement showed that Kerr, 59, has officially given him the green light — something he doesn’t take lightly.

Podziemski finished the 2024-25 regular season averaging 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, while shooting 44.5% from the field, 37.5% from the three-point line, and 75.8% from the free throw line. Podziemski’s averages aren’t good, but his turnaround in a 32-game span saw an average of 13.2 points on 46.6% shooting from the field and 40.2% from the three-point line.

Final Thoughts

Brandin Podziemski is a mixed bag among Golden State Warriors fans and media members. When healthy, Podziemski can help the Warriors, thanks to his strong shooting and ability, along with his individual success, which includes his aspirations to represent Team USA at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
