While LeBron James and Luka Doncic were helping the Los Angeles Lakers secure their second straight win on Saturday night, Bronny James, the son of LeBron, found himself in the G League for the weekend.

Bronny James was back in action with the South Bay Lakers on Saturday night, facing the Valley Suns in his 13th G League game. In a 118-98 win, Bronny James had one of his better games, tallying 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting, five rebounds and six assists.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles' new duo of LeBron James and Doncic were finally able to show off their full potential, ending Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets nine-game winning streak with a 123-100 win.

After South Bay's win over the Valley Suns, Bronny James spoke to ClutchPoints' Raj Chipalu, finally discussing his new teammate, Doncic. When asked what he has learned from Doncic so far, Bronny James shared his thoughts.

"Just his patience," Bronny James said. "Just being able to be unpredictable. I think that's the thing I've watched most about him. You never know what he’s going to do. That’s the best thing I’ve seen so far from him... He hasn't been here for long, so I just keep trying to pick up stuff from him.”

Bronny James' most recent NBA action came in Doncic's first loss with the Lakers, falling 131-119 to Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz. Although all of the former USC Trojans guard's eight minutes of action came in garbage time, Bronny James was able to tally career highs of nine points and two 3-pointers made.

The Los Angeles Lakers will continue the 2024-25 season with a six-game home stand starting on Tuesday against Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks. This will be the first time Doncic will face his former team, but Anthony Davis has been ruled out with injury.
