Bucks forward Taurean Prince has picked up his $3,815,861 option for next season, reports Eric Nehm of The Athletic.

As Nehm notes, Prince was limited to just 26 games played in 2025/26 due to a herniated disc in his neck, which required surgery last November. However, he was able to return to action in March and finished out the season strong, playing 18 of the team’s final 19 games.

Overall, the 32-year-old combo forward averaged 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 23.5 minutes per game. He shot an impressive 43.6% from long distance after nailing 43.9% of his three-pointers in ’24/25.

According to Nehm, Gary Trent Jr. opted out of his $3,881,960 contract for ’26/27 to become an unrestricted free agent. That was anticipated, as NBA insider Chris Haynes reported on Friday that Trent was expected to decline his player option.

A former second-round pick (38th overall in 2018), Trent just finished his eighth NBA season and second with Milwaukee. He’s coming off a down ’25/26 campaign in which his statistics (8.1 PPG, 1.2 APG, 1.0 RPG on .387/.360/.769 shooting in 21.2 MPG) were at their lowest levels since he was a rookie.
