After the Milwaukee Bucks' early playoff exit, there have been questions as to what the future holds for Giannis Antetokounmpo. While the NBA star still has a deal with the Bucks after signing a three-year, $175.3 million extension, many believe he'll eventually leave over the summer.
On a recent episode of FanDuel TV's "Run It Back," his teammate Bobby Portis Jr. commented on Antetokounmpo's loyalty with the Bucks. According to Portis, he thinks the Greek Freak will remain with the team.
The 2024 Sixth Man of the Year finalist spoke highly about Antetokounmpo wanting to remain with the team. Even though Milwaukee was eliminated in the first round for three consecutive years.
“Giannis bleed green, though,” Portis said. “I think he bleed green, I think he bleeds loyalty.”
Portis also said that Antetokounmpo would want to have a career like Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry. Two of the stars he mentioned played for one team their entire career. The same can't be said about Curry since his career isn't over. But he's remained loyal even through the hard times for the Golden State Warriors.
On Instagram, the 2021 Finals MVP left a comment about what Portis said about his future. According to Antetokounmpo, he wants his teammate to worry more about what's next for his career.
"Don’t worry about me! What you doing Bobby you staying or leaving ?!" Antetokounmpo commented.

Portis has a $13.4 million player option in the offseason. However, the big man hasn't decided whether he'll exercise it or opt out and become an unrestricted free agent.
While as a guest on "Run It Back," however, Portis expressed how much he loves Milwaukee.
