Without Giannis Antetokounmpo due to injury, the Milwaukee Bucks lit up the Phoenix Suns from deep in the 1st half.
Not only did the Bucks break a franchise record with 18 threes in the 1st half, but they also finished one shy of breaking the all-time NBA record.

Off the bench, Bobby Portis Jr. dazzled with 25 points, marking the highest-scoring performance by any player coming off the bench in a single half this season. Portis Jr. achieved a perfect 5-5 from beyond the arc, while every player in the Bucks’ starting rotation contributed at least two three-pointers.
This exceptional performance from long range propelled Milwaukee to a staggering 82 points in the 1st half, granting them a commanding 22-point lead heading into halftime.
Conversely, the Suns struggled from deep, finishing the first half shooting 3-13, with Grayson Allen accounting for all three of their successful attempts.
The Bucks are 12 threes away from breaking the single-game record, which they previously set back in 2020.
