Bulls' Alize Johnson tests positive for COVID-19

Chicago Bulls forward Alize Johnson tested positive for COVID-19. He is the 10th member of the team to enter the league's health and safety protocol. The news was reported Monday morning by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Teammates Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Troy Brown Jr., Coby White, Javonte Green, Matt Thomas, Derrick Jones Jr., Ayo Dosunmu and Stanley Johnson are also on the protocol list. Both White and Green worked out at the team's practice facility on Sunday for the first time since testing positive and could potentially return in time for Chicago's matchup on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons.

While it would be a pain to have to postpone Tuesday's game against the Pistons because they don't have enough players, it's also a scary scenario for a Bulls team that has added at least one player to the protocol over the last few days.

Chicago has lost its last two contests and sits in third place in the Eastern Conference at 17-10, two games behind the first-place Brooklyn Nets.
