Over the last handful of NBA seasons, the Chicago Bulls have not experienced the success they hoped when assembling a team with DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine, and Lonzo Ball as the faces. However, one thing has become very clear over the last two seasons. Coby White is becoming a star and a developmental success story for the franchise.
In his fifth season, White is averaging 19.6 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 5.8 APG. In addition, there is a lot of speculation that White could win the NBA's Most Improved Player Award. White is balling out on a new level in his career. All of his notable stats are career highs this season.
However, White still finds himself in elite company. With his performance on Monday night against the Sacramento Kings, White became just the sixth player this season to have 35+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists, 5+ 3-point field goals made, and shoot 70% or better from the floor in a NBA game. The other names? Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, Jalen Brunson, Paolo Banchero, and Brandon Ingram are the other five players to reach this plateau.
Coby White is one of only six NBA players this season to get 35 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 threes on 70% FG in a game this season.

The names that Coby White joined on Monday are truly some of the best players in the NBA. In addition, he showed off some clutch shooting in the victory. As of now, White is quickly becoming one of the faces of the Bulls and one player that can be penciled in as a core piece for years to come.
As of Wed., Mar. 6, the Bulls are firmly in the ninth spot in the Eastern Conference standings and should make the play-in tournament. A hot stretch late in the season could move them up the standings, but they'll need to continue to rise to the occasion against the league's top teams as they did on Monday night to do so.
Although the rest of the season is uncertain, one thing is certain regarding Coby White. He's going to be a face of the franchise for years to come.
