The Chicago Bulls will commence a five-game homestand at the United Center on Friday against the visiting Washington Wizards.
Despite Bulls head coach Billy Donovan’s assertion that guard Ayo Dosunmu is nearing a return, Dosunmu remains listed as out due to a right soleus strain for Friday’s match. Veteran forward Torrey Craig, who missed his fourth consecutive game in the Wednesday loss to the Indiana Pacers, remains sidelined due to a right lower leg contusion.
This was before last game and it has changed significantly. Dosunmu started running on treadmill and is improving. Donovan said he’s “getting closer and closer to playing.” https://t.co/EpHI9rRS4a

The Wizards will enter Friday’s meeting with a significant number of injuries. Johnny Davis and rookie Alex Sarr are uncertain due to a non-COVID illness. Richaun Holmes is questionable because of a right ankle sprain, while Jordan Poole is also questionable because of a left hip contusion. Additionally, Tristan Vukcevic is recovering from a right ankle sprain, Marvin Bagley III is recovering from a right knee sprain, Saddiq Bey is recovering from left ACL surgery, and Malcolm Brogdon is dealing with a right foot plantar fascia contusion. Consequently, these four players will be unable to participate in Friday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls will attempt to seize control of the season series against the Wizards, which currently stands at a 1-1 tie, on Friday in Chicago. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. CT, and the game will air on the Chicago Sports Network (CHSN).
