The former No. 2 overall pick was limited to a career-low 35 games this season after suffering a torn meniscus in his left knee in January. Ball underwent surgery on Jan. 28 and had been ramping up his rehab in March in hopes of a possible postseason return.
The older brother of reigning Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball experienced a setback in his push to make it back to the hardwood though and now his summer outlook appears murky.
