Bulls PG Lonzo Ball at 'standstill' in recovery from knee surgery?

The Chicago Bulls' 2021-22 season came to an end on Wednesday night at the hands of the defending-champion Milwaukee Bucks. Now, the collective attention of fans in the "Windy City" will shift to topics like the NBA Draft, free agency and offseason trades.

Perhaps of more immediate concern is the health of starting point guard Lonzo Ball.

The former No. 2 overall pick was limited to a career-low 35 games this season after suffering a torn meniscus in his left knee in January. Ball underwent surgery on Jan. 28 and had been ramping up his rehab in March in hopes of a possible postseason return.

The older brother of reigning Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball experienced a setback in his push to make it back to the hardwood though and now his summer outlook appears murky.
