WNBA star Caitlin Clark has publicly shared her support for fellow Indiana athlete Tyrese Haliburton and his longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones, after the Indiana Pacers guard suffered a season-ending injury in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

On Monday, Jade Jones posted an emotional tribute to Haliburton on Instagram. The post included heartfelt words and several photos from the night of the game.

“This team is SO special, beyond words,” Jones wrote. “You have made a historic run for the Pacers that generations will be talking about!!!”

Jones continued by praising Haliburton’s leadership and strength, writing, “You are so selfless, brave, and strong! … We will be back, we’re not finished yet! God’s plan, God’s timing. My superstar, I love you.”

Clark’s comment came just minutes after Jones’ post.

“I love you both. So much to be proud of !!!!” Clark commented.

Clark also posted a story on Instagram featuring a picture of Haliburton with heart and prayer emojis.

Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon just minutes into the first quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder. His injury, which will keep him out for the entire 2025–26 NBA season, left fans, teammates and basketball figures reeling.

Meanwhile, Clark and Haliburton share a well-known friendship, built on mutual respect and their rising careers in Indiana basketball.

Off the court, they’re even closer, along with their partners, and they keep in touch daily through a group chat.

Haliburton has attended several of Clark’s games, and she’s been courtside for many of his biggest moments this season, including earlier rounds of the playoffs.

At one point, Haliburton even shared how much their friend group relies on each other behind the scenes.

“We’re talking 24/7,” he told ESPN. “The four of us hang out all the time.”

As Haliburton begins a long road to recovery, he won’t be doing it alone. With support from Jones, Clark and a growing Indiana basketball family, he remains at the heart of a community that’s rooting for his return.
