Cam Reddish Finally Finding A Home In LA
USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Lakers season has gotten off to an interesting start, with the team having multiple ups and downs along the way. The team has been hit hard with the injury bug early in the year, but they have pushed through the best they can.

They have gotten contributions from multiple players, not named LeBron James or Anthony Davis, which has helped them stay afloat. One of those players is forward Cam Reddish, who has seemingly found a home with this Lakers team.

James praised Reddish for his production this season, specifically on the defensive end of the floor.

"Cam is great," LeBron James commented. "He has a knack for just being around the ball, getting deflections. I guarantee in the minutes that he's played, he's probably one of the league leaders in deflections, steals. Anything around the ball, he's just really good."

Per Dave McMenamin of ESPN

While he hasn't lived up to the hype that surrounded him coming out of college, Reddish has looked great this season. Through 18 games, he is averaging seven points per game for LA, but it's the non-box score stats that pop out.

Reddish has taken on many of the tougher assignments defensively for the Lakers and has thrived in his role. He is hustling to the ball and making impact-winning plays along the way.

"I haven't had an atmosphere like this I don't think in my entire NBA career," Reddish said. "It's been a lot of fun. A blessing. I'm just looking forward to the future."

Per Dave McMenamin of ESPN

Reddish has found a place that he finally feels comfortable in, and it is bringing out the best version of himself. It's been great to see so far, and the hope is that he can keep it up as the season progresses.
