After beating the Denver Nuggets on Friday night 113-110, the San Antonio Spurs have to travel back to Texas to do it all over again on Saturday, hosting the Nuggets and three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic, who had quite the battle with Victor Wembanyama in the first game.

Both centers grabbed 18 rebounds, but the Joker outscored the Alien, 41-35. Still, Wembanyama got the win and the last laugh.

Keep it posted to Inside the Spurs for all the latest news, ranging from odds (via FanDuel), injury reports for both teams, and TV information.

The Spurs entered last night's game as 6.5-point underdogs, but between home-court advantage and coming off a win, they have narrowed the betting gap in tonight's matchup.

On Friday before the game, the NBA updated its MVP ladder. Jokic was first, as expected, but Wembanyama managed to enter the top five. With a win tonight, the Spurs will be poised to leapfrog the Los Angeles Clippers for the seventh spot in the Western Conference, provided they lose to the Atlanta Hawks.

If the Clippers win, then the draft pick owed to the Spurs will get slightly better odds, so either was,y that game is a win/win for fans.
