Celtics' Gordon Hayward: Playing with no fans would be 'wild'

The NBA has been trying to come up with some sort of option to save the 2020 season from being canceled by the coronavirus. A couple of those options have been to play games in Las Vegas, or play games in empty arenas.

Boston Celtics' forward Gordon Hayward isn't too keen on the idea of playing games in empty arenas, and probably wouldn't enjoy playing away from his pregnant wife and daughters in Las Vegas.

Of course it would be crazy to play in empty stadiums, but some people see it as an option that's better than nothing. Unfortunately, that's not always the case because the coronavirus is fast spreading and coul move through locker rooms like a wildfire.

However, if they're able to play in empty arenas, maybe they can do something to simulate a crowd being in the stands, like possibly pumping in crowd noise and things like that.

Whether they decide to forego the regular season and just participate in the playoffs or play a shortened version of the regular season, things are going to look very different the next time we see players return to the court.
