The Boston Celtics will enter the 2025-26 season with plenty of uncertainty after Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles against the New York Knicks. It won't be clear when he will return or even if he'll be the same player he was before the injury.

Until then, many will speculate what the Celtics will do with Jaylen Brown. With Tatum out, Brown will fill in as essentially as the Celtics' best player, though one may wonder whether the Celtics will truly want to see that through for an entire season.

Boston could move Brown to help themselves improve their chances of a higher draft pick in 2026. However, ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel revealed where the Celtics stand with Brown's future, and it seems the team has made a clear decision.

In his latest intel on Friday, Siegel revealed nothing to the imagination regarding Brown's and Tatum's futures with the Celtics.

"Even though NBA fans love to stir the pot by creating their own trade proposals and ideas, neither Tatum nor Brown are on their way out of Boston entering the summer, league sources confirmed to ClutchPoints," Siegel wrote.

Brown has been with the Celtics since 2016. In his time with Boston, he has grown into becoming an All-Star and an All-NBA player, including a Finals MVP award in 2023. With the Celtics, Brown has made six Eastern Conference Finals and two NBA Finals along with one title.

Brown will be 29 when the season starts, meaning he'll be right in the prime of his career as a player. With Tatum out, Brown will get the chance to prove his capabilities as the Celtics' No. 1 option.
