So far this offseason, the Boston Celtics have had to say goodbye to numerous players from their 2024 NBA Championship team. The team has already traded Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, and Luke Kornet and Drew Peterson have officially left in free agency. Furthermore, it is widely expected that Al Horford will leave Boston this summer as well.

While these were the most recent Celtics champions to depart, they are not the only ones. Last offseason, Boston moved on from Oshae Brissett and Svi Mykhailiuk. Mykhailiuk spent last season with the Utah Jazz while Brissett split time in the G League and NBA, ultimately joining the Philadelphia 76ers.

Recently, Brissett signed with another team over a year since last suiting up for the Celtics.

Though his stay in Boston did not last too long, the Syracuse alum made an impact on the fanbase. He quickly became a fan favorite, largely due to his energetic playstyle.

After his brief stint with the 76ers last season, Brissett has recently signed with a new team, though it seems he will be leaving the NBA, at least for now, after signing with Maccabi Tel Aviv BC of the EuroLeague.

After playing just six games in the NBA last season, it is safe to assume that Brissett was not able to find a consistent role this time around. However, he is still just 27 years old and could still make a return to the NBA. In the meantime, he will take his talents overseas and look to make an impact in the Euroleague.
