The Orlando Magic are set to face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday for Game 5. The Celtics have a 3-1 series advantage over the Magic and look to finish it on their home floor. Boston won  107-98 over Orlando at Kia Center on Sunday.

However, the defending champions won't have their complete squad in a potential elimination game. According to the latest injury report submitted by the Celtics, they won't have one of the most important players for a third straight game.

The Celtics won't have All-Star guard Jrue Holiday for the fifth game of the best-of-seven series. Holiday continues to deal with a right hamstring strain, which has hindered him from playing in the postseason.

The star guard, who signed a four-year, $134.4 million deal to play for Boston, has only played in two games against the Magic. During that stretch, the guard has averaged 10 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

Aside from Holiday, the Celtics have listed All-Star forward Jaylen Brown in the injury report. Brown is questionable ahead of their game due to a right knee posterior impingement.

The two-time All-Star sustained the injury in Game 2, when the Celtics had a 109-100 win. However, his recovery timeline has yet to be determined.

On Saturday, head coach Joe Mazzulla gave an update on Holiday and said he's day-to-day.

“He’s doing well,” Mazzulla said. “He’s day-to-day. Just taking it one day at a time. Kind of seeing how he comes out of it.”

Holiday was added to the Celtics in 2023 after the Milwaukee Bucks traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers. It wasn't long before the two-way guard was traded to Boston. Since then, he's been integral to the team, helping the team win the championship in 2024.
