Charles Barkley Makes Hilarious Max Strus-Tom Brady Comparison

Charles Barkley is known for his unfiltered humor and once again stole the show this time comparing Cavaliers star Max Strus’ good looks to NFL legend Tom Brady.

Barkley shared a similar sentiment while watching Cleveland’s Max Strus. When the Inside the NBA crew was discussing the Cavaliers’ win over the Detroit Pistons in Game 5, Barkley had something else on his mind. He was admiring Strus’s beauty.

“I’m thinking what everybody’s thinking. That’s a pretty man,” Barkley said. “I am not attracted to him. He’s a good-looking man. I gave him his flowers on basketball all night. I would not look him d*** in the eyes. I made that mistake with Tom Brady one time.”

When Ernie Johnson asked Barkley if he was putting the Cavaliers player in Tom Brady’s class, Barkley kept it straight.

“He’s a better shooter than Tom Brady.”

In 2019, Barkley made a confession on The Jimmy Kimmel Show about his true feelings about the NFL legend. Barkley said that after realizing how good-looking Brady was, he avoided looking into the former New England Patriots quarterback’s eyes.

“I see why he scores all those touchdowns because the defense is looking at his eyes and get mesmerized,” the Phoenix Suns legend said. “That Tom Brady, he’s a pretty man. He’s a nice guy, too, but man, I can’t look him in the eyes.”

Strus had a great game, and aside from complimenting his good looks, Barkley also praised Strus for his crucial night in helping his team take a 3-2 lead. Barkley’s praise did not extend to the entire court.

Charles Barkley blasts Jalen Duren after another disappointing game

Jalen Duren’s recent slump has been a primary factor in the Pistons’ postseason difficulties.

After making his first All-Star selection, Duren’s playoff performance has simply been underwhelming, and it has been a big reason why the Pistons had to go to the first round series to seven games despite facing the 8th seed.

There was hope that Duren would find his form in the second round. But the drought has continued. After the Game 5 loss in overtime, Barkley didn’t hold back his true feelings about the Pistons’ center.

“His whole game is offensive rebounds and lob dunks from Cade (Cunningham),” Barkley said. “He’s not getting those. So, that’s really hurting him. Listen, he should never have two rebounds, ever. That’s two more than a dead person.”

Duren finished the game with 9 points and 5 rebounds. In five games in the Cavs series, Duren has averaged 9.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 46.2% from the field.
