Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr provided a major update on Steph Curry's hamstring injury following their 99-88 road win against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1.

Kerr revealed that Curry, who left the game in the second quarter and was unable to return, will undergo an MRI and is currently considered day-to-day. The four-time NBA champion shot-caller admitted, however, that it's "hard to imagine that he would play" in Game 2 on Thursday.

Curry's concerning injury was the first item on the agenda for the "Inside the NBA" crew during their post-game show. Charles Barkley shared his honest thoughts on the issue at hand, as the Hall of Famer explained why he believes there's no chance Curry will be available for Game 2.

"Yeah, there's zero chance they're still playing in Game 2," Barkley declared. "Zero chance. That's going to give him Game 3 and 4 to play. He's going to probably be off four or five days.

"... Yeah, so he's definitely not playing in game two since they won today."

As Ernie Johnson pointed out, Game 3 will be on Saturday, which will be played at Chase Center. Barkley is adamant that the best play for the Warriors is to have Curry sit out on Thursday to give him enough time to recover from this concerning hamstring injury.

The Warriors should make an official announcement on Curry's status for Game 2 once they get a clearer picture of his injury, but at this point, it appears that Golden State will be without their best player for Thursday's game.
