Charles Barkley Sends Clear Nuggets Message After Game 2 vs. Thunder

Unfortunately for Denver, Oklahoma City dominated Wednesday’s game as they outscored the Nuggets 87-56 in the first half and came out with a 149-106 victory.

With the Thunder easily evening up the series at a game apiece after their dominant victory in Game 2, the Nuggets will now look to regain control of the series on their home court in Game 3 on Friday.

Ahead of Game 3, NBA legend and TNT analyst Charles Barkley sent a massive message regarding what the Nuggets have to do in Game 3 on Friday night.

“Game 3 is a must-win for the Nuggets,” Barkley said after Denver’s blowout loss in Game 2 on Wednesday night.

While the series is tied up heading to Denver for Game 3, Barkley has a point about the Nuggets being in a must-win situation, especially after their poor performance in Game 2.

Of course, the Thunder have looked like the best team in the NBA the entire season and while they were unable to hold onto the lead in Game 1, they showed how dangerous they can be in Game 2 with their 43-point victory.

With the series now heading to Denver, the Nuggets do not want to let the Thunder take a game on their home court and regain home-court advantage in the series as that would be a massive boost to Oklahoma City.

Because of this, the Nuggets are in a must-win situation in Game 3 on Friday night like Barkley said as they look to use their home court to their advantage to regain control of the series.
