Charlotte Hornets Fanbase Voice Frustration Out After Brandon Miller and Company’s Loss Led to Playoff Elimination

Thanks to that loss, the Hornets are now out of the playoff picture. In a season that saw LaMelo Ball went down with an injury and Grant Williams coming in via a trade with the Dallas Mavericks, fans have now taken to social media to voice their frustration at the team.

“Bummer. But they got a future all star in Brandon Miller,” E-Man tweeted.

“If you were the GM of the Hornets, what would you do?” Nik Atanackovic asked, with the recent front-office decisions on how the roster is built being the primary perspective.

“Heartbreaking,” T shared.

“It’s crazy how quickly their direction flipped from East contenders to the lottery,” Peetie Pete posted.

After this loss, the Hornets must face the challenge of coming up with a roster that will make the most of Ball’s time with the team. Also, the franchise will have to find a way to elevate Miller as he and the All-Star point guard are seen as the team’s foundational pieces for the future.

The following months will see Charlotte build a competitive roster again via the draft or free agency. For Hornets fans, though, the wait will be excruciatingly long for them.
