One of the greatest point guards in NBA history could be entering his final season in the league.
Chris Paul, who is also known as “CP3” and “Point God,” enters his 21st season in the fall.
He has been on seven different franchises and an eighth one is on the way. Paul has had an illustrious career that includes 12 All-Star selections, nine All-NBA team selections, nine NBA All-Defensive team selections, five-time NBA assists leader, and six-time NBA steals leader. The 40-year-old will be a future Hall of Famer, but it will be interesting to see where he plays next.
Paul mentored young stars on his journey such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City), Devin Booker (Phoenix), and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio). Alexander took Paul’s leadership and guided the Thunder to an NBA title last season.
He has also played with Stephen Curry (Golden State) and James Harden.
