The Final Four of the 2025 men's NCAA Tournament will take place in San Antonio on Saturday night.
For the first time since 2008, all four of the No. 1 seeds will play in the Final Four. Auburn will play Florida and Duke will play Houston. The winners of those two games will meet in the National Championship Game on Monday.
Former Michigan standout Chris Webber will be watching both games and recently caught up with TMZ to discuss his playing career and his crazy moment during the 1993 NCAA Tournament National Championship Game.
Michigan was down 73-71 against North Carolina with 11 seconds left when Webber called timeout. He thought Michigan still had a timeout left but was mistaken.
North Carolina would score four more points in the last 11 seconds to win by six, 77-71.
Webber told TMZ that it's beyond time for people to know that you can make a mistake like that and still come out on top in life.
"I think we need to start telling people, you can have big mistakes and still come out the man, especially when you give it your all," Webber said, via TMZ.
"I wouldn't trade one moment that I had at the Final Four. I wouldn't trade any of the stats. I wouldn't take the timeout."
He gave it his all in that game and during his collegiate career before he was the top overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft. The Golden State Warriors selected him first overall before he spent 15 seasons in the NBA.
During his career, he averaged 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. His last season came in 2007-08 as a member of the Warriors.
Auburn against Florida will be the first game on Saturday at 6:09 p.m. ET. Duke-Houston will be the second game, starting at 8:49 p.m. ET.
