The Los Angeles Clippers' struggles continued on Saturday with a 109-106 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Clippers dropped to 6-18, although they hung around with the Timberwolves on the road.

Four LA starters finished in double figures, with James Harden leading the way with 34 points and six assists and Kawhi Leonard adding 20 points.

Harden went 10-of-18 from the field and 13-of-15 from the free-throw line, and he hit a layup to make it a one-point game with less than 10 seconds to go.

Ultimately, Jaden McDaniels hit two free throws and Harden missed a potential game-tying three-pointer to give Minnesota the victory.

This marked the second straight loss for the Clippers in two days as they now go to Houston to finish the road trip against one of Harden's former teams.

Despite the loss, Harden moved up on the NBA all-time scoring list.

"10TH ALL-TIME IN @NBA HISTORY - Congrats, James Harden," the Clippers wrote on X.

Here is the updated top-10 list:

  1. LeBron James
  2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
  3. Karl Malone
  4. Kobe Bryant
  5. Michael Jordan
  6. Dirk Nowitzki
  7. Wilt Chamberlain
  8. Kevin Durant
  9. Shaquille O'Neal
  10. James Harden

At 28,303 career points, Harden moved past Carmelo Anthony and is now less than 300 points away from moving to No. 9.

Harden came into the game averaging 26.5 points per game, which had him right above Leonard (25.8 PPG entering Saturday).

In what has been a frustrating year for LA, Harden has played well and is now moving up the NBA all-time list.
