Clippers Sign Yuki Kawamura To Camp Deal

The Clippers have signed free agent Yuki Kawamura to an Exhibit 10 training camp deal, Forbes’ Tony East reports (via Twitter).

The third-year point guard played last season with the Bulls, where he averaged 3.4 points and 2.6 assists in 11.6 minutes over 18 games. He played 11 games for the Windy City Bulls, Chicago’s G League affiliate, averaging 18.7 points, 11.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds on .357/.349/.875 shooting splits.

The 25-year-old, 5’7″ fan-favorite went undrafted in 2023 after coming over from the Japanese B League, where he was named MVP and rookie of the year in 2023. He will reunite with Japan National Team teammate Rui Hachimura for training camp as he looks to find his next NBA home.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed deal that puts a player in line for a bonus worth up to $91K if he’s waived before the season begins and then spends at least 60 days with his team’s G League affiliate. It can also be converted into a two-way deal.
