Clippers to sign veteran big man DeMarcus Cousins for remainder of season

DeMarcus Cousins will remain a Los Angeles Clipper.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Clippers are signing the veteran big man for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

Cousins initially signed a 10-day deal with the Clippers on April 5 and received a second 10-day contract when the first one expired.

In eight games with L.A. this season, Cousins is averaging 6.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 48.8% from the field and 50% from deep.

The 30-year-old began the 2020-21 season with the Houston Rockets, but they released him in February.
