The New York Knicks are currently gearing up to continue their championship celebration on Thursday with a parade through the streets of Manhattan. The Knicks are NBA champions after defeating the San Antonio Spurs in five games in the NBA Finals over the weekend.
Now, a new video has been revealed showing some custom street signs that will be put in place on Thursday prior to the parade.

It’s certainly a worthy celebration for a Knicks team that went 15-1 in the playoffs after falling behind 2-1 in the first round to the Atlanta Hawks. At that point, there were questions about Mike Brown as a coach, and whether or not the team had dumped all of their assets into a team that wasn’t good enough to win it all.
The Knicks passed all of those tests with flying colors over the ensuing two months, dominating both the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers en route to the Finals, where they faced a much tougher Spurs team, but were able to use their experience and clutch play from Jalen Brunson to out-execute San Antonio toward the end of games.
The Knicks figure to be able to bring back essentially the same core of players next season, where they will look to become the NBA’s first repeat champion since the 2018 Golden State Warriors. In fact, no team has made it back to the Finals the following season since that Warriors squad.
For now, however, the Knicks are understandably focused on giving themselves a proper celebration for the championship victory. The title parade is set for Thursday in what will be a crowded Manhattan.
