The Milwaukee Bucks have once again found themselves in a position to make the postseason, and everybody is wondering what they will do. There was some uncertainty on how things would work out for them after a slow start to the season, but they were able to make a few runs throughout the year and climb up the standings.
They've traded Khris Middleton, who was one of the biggest parts of their championship run, and in return got Kyle Kuzma who has stepped in as the third scorer for the team. Now with playoffs around the corner, eyebrows are being raised as Damian Lillard has been ruled out indefinitely with blood clots in his right calf.
The Bucks have shared more news about Lillard's status as the team is ramping up for the playoffs, according to The Athletic.
"The team said Lillard has been put on blood-thinning medication and will continue to be tested regularly. Lillard is expected to be out indefinitely, but a league source told The Athletic that there is a great deal of optimism that he will return this season," The Athletic wrote.
It would be a great sign for the Bucks if Lillard is able to return at some time during the playoffs, but with an injury like this, it will be important to take things slow so he can make a full recovery.
