On Saturday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Dallas Mavericks (in Texas) by a score of 129-117.
Despite losing the first quarter by an astonishing 24 points, the Bucks showed a lot of resilience to pull off such a miraculous comeback.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 48 points, and All-Star point guard Damian Lillard had 30 points, three rebounds and eight assists while shooting 10/11 from the field and 5/5 from the three-point range.
After the game, Lillard made a post to Instagram.
Lillard captioned his post: "Time to stop surviving and start thriving! "
Lillard is in his first season with Milwaukee and is averaging 25.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 42.8% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range in 46 games.
With the victory, the Bucks improved to 33-16 in their first 49 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and 12-11 in the 23 games they have played on the road.
Following the Mavs, the Bucks will head to Salt Lake City to face off against the Utah Jazz on Sunday evening.

As for the Mavs, the loss dropped them to 26-23 in their first 49 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games.
On Monday evening, the Mavs will visit the Philadelphia 76ers.
