DaQuan Jeffries Signs With Turkey’s Besiktas

DaQuan Jeffries has signed with EuroLeague newcomer Besiktas, Eurohoops relays. The announcement was made in a press release from the Turkish club. Jeffries played in the Kings’ organization last season.

Jeffries starred in the NBA G League for the Stockton Kings, earning All-NBAGL First Team honors. In 35 regular-season games, Jeffries averaged 21.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 32 minutes per game. He finished third in the voting for the league’s Most Valuable Player.

Jeffries signed a 10-day hardship contract with Sacramento in late March and appeared in three games, averaging 10.3 points in 20 minutes per contest.

Jeffries appeared in 47 games (20 starts) with Charlotte the previous season, averaging 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 22.8 minutes per game. He also had stints with Houston, Memphis and New York after beginning his NBA career with the Kings for two seasons.
