The Detroit Pistons made a return to the NBA Playoffs last season.
Even though the Detroit Pistons ended their five-year playoff drought, the team was eliminated in the first round.
It meant the Pistons’ roster was far from ready to compete for an NBA Championship during the 2024-25 season.
As a result, ahead of the new season, the Pistons’ front office has made some key changes to provide head coach JB Bickerstaff with a better roster.
The Pistons already have a star to build their team around, and it’s none other than Cade Cunningham. The former No. 1 overall pick finally took a leap as he earned his first NBA All-Star selection of his career.
But even in the shallow Eastern Conference, the Pistons need to surround Cunningham with quality role players. As a result, it’s no surprise that the Pistons traded for Duncan Robinson.
Keeping that in mind, here are all the additions that the Pistons made to their roster this offseason.
Among the moves, the arrival of Caris LeVert and Robinson will likely receive the most attention from the Pistons’ fanbase.
After all, both players are known for their solid scoring abilities off the bench while shooting efficiently from the three-point line.
With the Pistons finally making a return to the postseason, the front office was quick to revamp the roster this summer.
That included parting ways with players who didn’t fit into the Pistons’ current timeline. But the most surprising departure was Dennis Schroder, who was traded to the team last season.
With that said, here are all the players who will no longer be members of the Pistons next season.
It will come down to Robinson to prove his worth to the franchise and earn a place in the Pistons’ lineup. After all, Simone Fontecchio has shown signs of stardom during the 2025 EuroBasket.
