The Phoenix Suns have now been eliminated from the NBA. However, looking back at the season, the Knicks did have some positives to take back home. Despite trading Kevin Durant in the previous offseason, many expected the Knicks to miss the playoffs. But thanks to some hot performances from Dillon Brooks, the team did qualify for the postseason. Now, while enjoying the offseason, Brooks dropped a surprising take on Victor Wembanyama.

“Once Wemby gets his first [MVPI, you’re not gonna see another person get MVP. His numbers are gonna go up every year,” said Brooks.

“I’m the real straps for Wemby, real straps for Wemby. None of that. I’m telling you, search up his numbers against me, that shits real low,” he further added.

Now then, this statement doesn’t come as a surprise. After all, the 30-year-old Suns star is famous for his antics on the court. More often than not, the 6-foot-7 star did not shy away from speaking his mind. While Wembanyama is currently fighting to win his maiden NBA ring, the coming season might witness an interesting battle between the Spurs’ star and Brooks.

Meanwhile, Wemby is not the only person the former Houston Rockets’ star spoke about. He also re-ignited the GOAT debate.

Did Dillon Brooks Re-Ignite His Beef With LeBron James?

Brooks recently had a respectful take on James’ future. However, in a recent appearance with streamer Ray, the Suns star made a controversial statement. He pointed out that Michael Jordan was more efficient than the 41-year-old.

“Yeah, I think [MJ] is just more efficient. He has more championships. He has more like clutch-game wins. He only played like six or seven seasons less than LeBron,” Brooks said.

Surely, the two have a beef going on from the time Brooks was with the Memphis Grizzlies. Now, with the latest comments, fans are once again intrigued to find out what’s next.
