Draymond Green Makes Thoughts on Timberwolves NBA Title Chances Perfectly Clear
USA TODAY Sports

Draymond Green has never been afraid to speak his mind. After being issued multiple technical fouls and flagrant fouls this postseason, Green has drawn the ire of the opposition on a nightly basis.

Despite Green's controversial style of play on the court, he has also shown himself to be a well-spoken, student of the game off the court. Following the Golden State Warriors' playoff exit on Wednesday night, Green had plenty to say.

Green and the Warriors find themselves on the outside looking in for the remainder of the 2025 NBA playoffs thanks to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves ousted the Warriors in five games, and the Timberwolves are now in back-to-back Western Conference finals for the first time in franchise history.

Green took the time to speak at length about the Timberwolves chances to "win it all" this season, making his opinion perfectly clear.

"I think they have a real shot at it," Green said.

Green went to to elaborate, revealing who he believes is the most crucial asset on the Timberwolves depth chart behind Anthony Edwards

"They got a chance. They have a real shot. Anytime you've got a No. 2 (player) that can just go get it, you give yourself a chance to make it happen and get a ring, the way Julius been playing," Green said of Julius Randle's impact on the Timberwolves title chances.

Green, a four-time NBA champion himself, appeared to be gracious in defeat, and he believes the Timberwolves current roster has a real chance to win the NBA Finals this year.

The Timberwolves will now await the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets.
