Four Rings is feuding this week with Seven Rings.

Retired former Los Angeles Lakers champion Robert Horry drew attention over the weekend with his remarks on the Spectrum SportsNet postgame show after the Lakers’ win against the Orlando Magic. Horry was commenting about the saga in which Lakers star Luka Doncic received a technical foul for jawing with Magic center Goga Bitadze ( with Doncic later claiming that Bitadze made threats against his family).

Horry expressed disagreement with the technical foul for Doncic and used Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green as an example of a player who is allowed to get away with much more without receiving a technical.

On the latest episode of his self-titled podcast, Green responded to the stray from Horry.

Goga Bitadze said he would f–k [Luka’s] whole family up,” said Green. “At some point I can’t stand for that. I gotta stand up for myself. Robert Horry goes on the show and brings me up in the conversation.

“Maybe I think he wanted some attention,” Green continued of Horry. “So, everybody let’s get give Robert Horry the attention he deserves. But I don’t know what I had to do with this.”

Doncic eventually got a happy ending as the technical foul was retroactively rescinded by the NBA (meaning that Doncic, for now, does not have to serve a one-game suspension for accumulation of technicals). Meanwhile, Green is right that he didn’t have anything to do with the situation at hand. But Green only has his own unsightly behavior on the court to blame for why he has such a reputation as the NBA’s worst troublemaker.
