The Golden State Warriors are making a strong push as the 2024-2025 NBA regular season nears its end.

With a current record of 44-31, they hold the No. 2 position in the Pacific Division and are No. 5 in the Western Conference standings.

In their most recent game, the Warriors secured a 134-125 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Stephen Curry delivered an exceptional performance, scoring 52 points, including 12 three-pointers, and adding 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

This win not only bolstered the Warriors’ playoff positioning, but also provided a morale boost as they approach the postseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers are the next opponent the Warriors will face. This matchup is critical, as the Lakers currently occupy No. 4 in the Western Conference, just two games ahead of Golden State.

A victory would narrow the gap and enhance the Warriors’ chances of securing home-court advantage in the playoffs.

Jaren Jackson Jr. receives a clear message from Draymond Green

Following the game against the Grizzlies, Draymond Green commented on Jaren Jackson Jr.‘s tendency to get into foul trouble.

Green stated, “He’s too good to still be getting in foul trouble. A couple of those fouls he picked up, he can stay away from those. It’s time for him to take that next step in that department.”

"I am a Jaren fan. I'm always rooting for him. But to see him still getting into those fouls, he can't do that. His team needs him. There were some great plays by Jimmy, but Jaren got to figure it out. He got too good offensively to be taken out on the defensive side."

Green’s remarks highlight the respect he has for Jackson’s talent and the belief that refining his discipline could elevate his game further.

As the Warriors continue their pursuit of a higher playoff seed, maintaining their recent momentum and capitalizing on key matchups will be essential for their postseason aspirations.
