Draymond Green Takes Shot at Giannis Antetokounmpo Over Ongoing Bucks Situation

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s time in Milwaukee has become a hot topic throughout the season. The Golden State Warriors went all in at the trade deadline to acquire the two-time MVP, but ultimately pulled the plug. If that materialized, Giannis would be paired with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. Wouldn’t that be a sight to see?

But none of that happened. And for Giannis, he’s extremely frustrated with the Bucks organization. He clearly wants to play for another team next season. Maybe it’s a good thing, though, that the Greek Freak wasn’t traded to the Dubs, because Green truly doesn’t like what he’s reading about Antetokounmpo nowadays.

“I love how Giannis treats the Milwaukee Bucks organization, he treats them like ‘screw y’all, and I don’t care what y’all gotta say’, meanwhile they’ve given all his brothers an opportunity to play NBA basketball,” Green said on his show.

You may hate Green’s game, but you can’t hate his thoughts about the game. As for the Bucks, they are anticipating a messy breakup with their superstar in the summer. There’s no turning back on that one.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is Expected to be Traded in the Summer

The ‘he said, she said’ narrative has already irked Bucks coach Doc Rivers when it comes to any Giannis-related news. Well, maybe if Antetokounmpo gets offloaded, Rivers would be next, especially after giving an ill-advised locker room speech

But at this point, considering all the news that has come out, it looks like Giannis Antetokounmpo will be dealt in the offseason.

“Even before it became known that the league office had opened an investigation into whether Milwaukee should clear Antetokounmpo to return to the floor even though the Bucks can no longer finish higher than 11th in the East, there was a strong belief leaguewide that a long-anticipated Giannis trade will finally happen this offseason,” according to Marc Stein.

Wherever he lands, that team would instantly be viewed as a contender. Well, if Giannis stays healthy anyway.
