Draymond Green's Height Catches Attention Amid NBA Offseason

Draymond Green plays small forward or power forward for the Golden State Warriors, and he has had plenty of success in his roles with the team. He's a one-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and a nine-time All-Defensive Team member.

The four-time NBA champion is widely considered undersized for his position, though it hasn't stopped him from making an impact on the Warriors. In fact, he was a finalist again for the DPOY award during the 2024-25 season.

While Green is small for his position in the NBA, that doesn't mean he's doesn't tower over normal people and non-athletes. The average height of a player in the league is 6-foot-7, and Green stands at 6-foot-6.

Green's height was on full display during his appearance on the livestream of internet personality Kai Cenat on Tuesday. Cenat was shocked to see Green's size in person and had to ask how tall he is, to which the Warriors star obliged and even stood up to compare his height with the online streamer.

Cenat reportedly stands at 5-foot-3.

Sure enough, fans were quick to comment on Green's physique and his height difference with Cenat.

"Draymond rly towers over Kai," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Whoa, that's a big difference! I've seen some height disparities before, but that's something else."

"The height difference between Draymond Green and Kai Canat is insane," a fan added.

A viewer remarked, "Oh he tall tall."

"Kai looked like he needed a ladder just to dap him up. Draymond towering fr," a fifth poster hilariously shared.

A social media user stated, "Kai looking up like he just met a friendly skyscraper."

It's certainly a lesson learned for Cenat and for many fans. At the end of the day, Green is still an NBA player. And while his height might be average by league standards, he's still tall compared to most people in the US, where the average height of men is 5-foot-9, according to the CDC.
