Dwyane Wade makes concerning claims about LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers have dropped three games in a row, and JJ Redick was livid after their latest setback.

The second-year coach threw some of his players under the bus, and he even claimed that he wouldn't do another 53 games like this.

“We don’t care enough right now,” Redick said in his post-game rant. “That’s the part that bothers you a lot. We don’t care enough to do the things that are necessary.”

Notably, it seems like he's right. More than that, Dwyane Wade just confirmed that LeBron James, his close friend and former teammate, doesn't care about hoops right now.

Dwyane Wade says LeBron James isn't worried about basketball right now

“LeBron (is) on his golf simulator right now,” Wade said on the "NBA on Prime" show, per Fullcourtpass. “He’s working on getting that under. He’s not worried about this.”

James echoed a similar sentiment last week when he admitted that he didn't watch NBA basketball anymore and was focused on working on his golf game.

He also said that he didn't want to play on Christmas, just one year after calling out the NFL for trying to take "their day" away from them.

Redick admitted that James was a problem for the team, as the offense was just "too random" when he was on the floor.

Of course, James has already accomplished everything a basketball player can dream of and more, so it's not like he hasn't earned the right to focus on other things. But if that's the desire, he should have stepped away. If people are going to praise him for his durability, then they can also criticize him for not putting it all out there when he's playing. You're either bought in, or you aren't, and no one is above an organization, much less the second-winningest franchise in NBA history.

James deserves all the praise for still playing at a high level after 23 years, but if he's lost his passion for the game, maybe he shouldn't have come back.
