Dwyane Wade chose between LeBron James and Michael Jordan… except he didn’t actually choose.
The GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James has been the most hot-button topic among NBA circles for a long time.
No answer is going to be accepted by all fans. But Dwyane Wade may have pulled off a masterstroke with his unique response to the question.
“Michael Jordan is my basketball GOAT. For all the reasons that he should be. But I do have a new answer for the way I’m going to start answering this when people ask me.
“Michael Jordan is the greatest player I’ve ever watched. LeBron James is the greatest player I’ve ever seen.”
“I never saw Michael Jordan. I watched Michael Jordan. I saw, and I’ve seen LeBron James up close. I played against, and I played with. I personally have not seen a greater basketball player. But I’ve watched a greater player.”
