Evan Fournier labels four-time champion as NBA's biggest trash talker

Draymond Green is a generational defensive talent. His role in the Golden State Warriors dynasty cannot be understated. However, Green is always a combative player who often utilizes the dark arts to gain an advantage on the court.

Evan Fournier recently told Tidal League that Green is the biggest trash-talker in the NBA. The New York Knicks guard noted Green has taken over from Kevin Garnett, who previously held that title.

"It used to be Garnett 100%. Now it’s Draymond, he got a big mouth for sure…He (Dillon Brooks) don’t be talking that s** like that really. He acting all weird this year…It’s hard to like him for sure.”

Green is known for being an agitator. He talks throughout games and lets his opponents know how successful the Warriors have been. Green isn't talking trash for no reason, though. He's trying to throw opposing defenses off their games. To make players angry, they struggle to keep their composure. And Green backs up his talk with a physical brand of play.

It's hard to argue with a player who has won four championships in his career. It's harder when that same player has made eight All-Defensive teams and is a former Defensive Player of the Year. Green is accomplished. He's a future Hall of Fame candidate. His trash talk comes from an arrogance born out of success and dominance.

Green's reputation as a trash talker isn't what will define his career. It's how players will remember him. But for NBA fans, he will be remembered for anchoring one of the most dominant teams in NBA history. If he had to talk trash to give himself and his team an advantage, then so be it.
