Ex-LA 2-Way Player Signs Deal With Mavericks
USA TODAY Sports

Former Los Angeles Lakers two-way forward Alex Fudge has found a new home.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Fudge has agreed to a two-way deal with the Dallas Mavericks

The Lakers took a chance on Fudge last summer after he went undrafted in 2023. He played one season at LSU before joining the Flordia Gators. The team had hoped they had found a hidden gem in Fudge, but it never materialized.

The 20-year-old began the season on a two-way deal with the Lakers. He appeared in only four games in the association before being waived in early January.

However, he appeared in 18 games with the South Bay Lakers, averaging 7.9 points and 5.1 rebounds. Dallas will now have the 18-man roster by adding Fudge.
