Final Injury Report for 76ers-Pacers: Will Pascal Siakam, Joel Embiid Play?

The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Indiana Pacers in an Eastern Conference matchup.

Philadelphia enters Friday’s game with a 43-37 record after losing on the road to the Houston Rockets on Thursday night.

In Thursday’s loss to the Rockets, V.J. Edgecombe led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 21 points, six rebounds and eight assists while Tyrese Maxey added 23 points, three rebounds and five assists of his own.

Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back on the road on Friday as they face off against a struggling Pacers team.

On the other side, Indiana enters Friday’s contest with a 19-61 record after defeating the Brooklyn Nets on the road in dominant fashion on Thursday night.

Obi Toppin led the way for the Pacers in Thursday’s victory as he ended the game with 26 points, nine rebounds and three assists off the bench while Micah Potter recorded 18 points and 14 rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid Play?

For the 76ers, they have one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center Joel Embiid.

Philadelphia has ruled out Embiid as he recovers from surgery for appendicitis that he underwent on Thursday.

With Embiid sidelined, Adem Bona and Andre Drummond could both continue to have increased roles until he is cleared to return.

Pacers Injury Report: Will Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard Play?

On the other side, the Pacers have 10 players listed on their injury report, including both Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard.

Indiana has ruled out Siakam due to and ankle injury has he will miss his fourth consecutive contest.

The Pacers have also ruled out Nembhard as he will miss his sixth straight game with a back injury.

T.J. McConnell (hamstring) and Aaron Nesmith (neck) have also been ruled out while Tyrese Haliburton , Johnny Furphy and Ivica Zubac are all set to miss the remainder of the season.

Jarace Walker (hip), Ben Sheppard (hip) and Kobe Brown (ankle) have all been listed as questionable.

Fans can catch Friday night’s matchup between the 76ers and Pacers from Indianapolis at 7:30 p.m. ET.
