
The Memphis Grizzlies are at home on Friday night as they host the Boston Celtics in an interconference matchup.
Memphis enters Friday’s game with a 24-44 record after defeating the Denver Nuggets at home on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s victory over the Nuggets, Ty Jerome led the way for the Grizzlies as he recorded 21 points, nine rebounds and nine assists while Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 19 points of his own.
Now Memphis will try to grab another victory on Friday as they face off against the Celtics in a tough home matchup.
On the other side, Boston enters Friday’s contest with a 46-23 record after defeating the Golden State Warriors at home on Wednesday night.
Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 32 points, six rebounds and five assists while Jayson Tatum recorded 24 points and 10 rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
For the Celtics, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center Nikola Vucevic.
Boston has ruled out Vucevic as he continues to recover from surgery to repair fracture in his right ring finger that has kept him out since March 8.

With Vucevic still sidelined, Neemias Queta and Luka Garza could both continue to have increased roles until the veteran big man is cleared to return.
On the other side, the Grizzlies have nine players listed on their injury report, including both Ja Morant and GG Jackson.
Memphis has ruled out Morant as he continues to recover from a left elbow UCL sprain that has kept him out since Jan. 23, though the Grizzlies are expected to re-evaluate him soon.

The Grizzlies have also ruled out Brandon Clark and Jahmai Mashack as they both remain sidelined while recovering from injuries while Zach Edey, Santi Aldama, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Scotty Pippen Jr. are all set to miss the remainder of the season.
Jackson has been listed as doubtful due to left knee soreness and he is expected to miss his first game since March 16 while Taj Gibson is doubtful and is expected to be sidelined with right foot soreness.
