The Boston Celtics are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Miami Heat in an Eastern Conference showdown.
Boston enters Wednesday’s game with a 50-25 record after losing on the road to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.
In Monday’s loss to the Hawks, Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics as he recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists while Luka Garza added 20 points and nine rebounds of his own.
Now Boston will try to bounce back on Wednesday as they face off against the Heat in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Miami enters Wednesday’s contest with a 40-36 record after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers at home on Monday night.
Tyler Herro led the way for the Heat in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 30 points, four rebounds and three assists while Bam Adebayo recorded 23 points, 16 rebounds and six assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Celtics, they have two players listed on their injury report, though both Jayson Tatum and Neemias Queta are not among them.
Of course, Tatum missed Monday’s game due to Achilles injury management while Queta was sidelined on Monday with a thumb injury but both players are off the injury report and will return against the Heat.
Boston has listed Ron Harper Jr. as questionable due to a right ankle sprain and he is in danger of missing his second straight game.
