The Los Angeles Clippers are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in a Western Conference showdown.
Los Angeles enters Friday’s game with a 41-39 record after losing at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s loss to the Thunder, Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Clippers as he recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists while Brook Lopez added 16 points, six rebounds and three assists of his own.
Now Los Angeles will try to bounce back on Friday as they face off against the Trail Blazers in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Portland enters Friday’s contest with a 40-40 record after losing on the road to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 29 points, six rebounds and six assists while Scoot Henderson recorded 20 points and three rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Clippers, they have three players listed on their injury report, though Darius Garland is not one of them.
Of course, Garland missed Wednesday's loss to the Thunder due to toe injury management but he is off the injury report and will return against the Trail Blazers.
