
The Golden State Warriors are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Sacramento Kings in a Western Conference matchup.
Golden State enters Friday’s game with a 37-43 record after losing at home to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
In Thursday’s loss to the Lakers, Nate Williams led the way for the Warriors as he recorded 17 points, four rebounds and three assists while Brandin Podziemski scored 17 points of his own.
Now Golden State will try to bounce back on Friday as they face off against a struggling Kings team.
On the other side, Sacramento enters Friday’s contest with a 21-59 record after losing on the road to the Warriors on Tuesday night.
Maxime Raynaud led the way for the Kings in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 17 points and seven rebounds while Killian Hayes recorded 18 points, four rebounds and four assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Warriors, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Stephen Curry and Kristaps Porzingis.
Golden State has listed Curry as probable due to right knee injury management and he is expected to return after missing Thursday's loss.
The Warriors have also listed Porzingis as probable and he is expected to return from a two-game absence due to an illness.
Charles Bassey has also been listed as probable and is expected to play despite dealing with an ankle injury.
Gui Santos has been listed as questionable due to a right pelvic contusion while Will Richard is questionable with a back injury.
On the other side, the Kings have seven players listed on their injury report for Friday, including DeMar DeRozan.
Sacramento has ruled out DeRozan due to a right hamstring injury as he will miss his second consecutive contest.
The Kings have also ruled out Russell Westbrook due to a toe injury while Keegan Murray remains sidelined with an ankle sprain.
Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, De'Andre Hunter and Drew Eubanks have also been ruled out as they are all set to miss the remainder of the season.
